Lana Okiro
From Western Ukraine, Lana Okiro has always had a love of nature. Throughout her academic years and continuing into her working life art has been the basis to her career. Now living in Surrey she produces artworks that depict beauty in the everyday objects. Lana is one of the UK’s most popular Still Life Artists. Taking inspiration from the likes of Paul Cézanne and Claude Monet. Her distinctive style is formed using an Impasto technique, where a highly built up and textured appearance creates a realistic image from afar. With delicate bold strokes and bright colours her work up close is very subtle and precise, this is due to the clearly defined palette knife skills. She manages to represent nature with accuracy and style.
